California Compliance School offers instruction about hazardous waste management by experienced instructors. Participants learn through a number of real-world, practical exercises.

Sample formats of some required documents are reviewed, including Contingency Plans, Training Plans, and records, Inspection schedules and self-audits, manifests, LDRs, container labels, and checklists for waste reductions. Compliance School's materials cover basic concepts and provide references for students to use and learn more.

Basic overview of compliance, includes Hazardous Waste overview and classification, on-site management requirements, transportation requirements and emergency preparedness, information about on-site self-audits, waste recycling, and when waste treatment requires Tiered Permit.

DOT Hazardous Waste Manifest Training 1-day Training

Developed by DTSC, CCS, and CHP staff to provide Hazardous Waste Manifest Training for Generators. Classes will be in-person with a focus on learning with Guidebooks, Demonstrations, and Exercises. Meet the requirements as a DOT Hazardous Material Employee to sign and Certify your shipments for safe transportation. Certificates are issued upon completion of all course requirements.

Cancellation Policy for all DOT and Hazardous Waste Classes

There are no refunds if you are unable to attend for any reason. Your payment for the class is your guarantee of a seat, as classes are limited in size.

However, a 48-hour cancellation notice prior to the first day of class is required for you to receive a credit, to attend a class at a later date or different location.

We reserve the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified prior to the event.
