RFPs and Bids - Construction
The Kern Community College District's Facilities Department, under the Finance and
Administrative Services division, handles the procurement of construction contractor
services for new construction, modernization, and scheduled maintenance projects per
the bidding requirements under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting
Act (CUPCCAA).
Consistent with the California Public Contract Code, the District solicits Invitations to Bid, Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), or other formal methods of procurement for contracts exceeding bid limits.
