- Community Education: Serves as a trusted resource for informing and empowering the community about emerging renewable energy technologies. Through accessible, up-to-date educational content, CREL helps residents understand the role of clean energy in building a more sustainable future.
- Community Engagement: Collaborates with local organizations, host public workshops, and engage in community events to raise awareness, support workforce development, and connect residents to opportunities in the expanding renewable energy sector
Agriculture/Water/Energy (AWE) Virtual Education Series
The Valley Strong Energy Institute supported the design and launch of the webinar series that highlights the evolving energy landscape and its impact on the Kern County region, and California more broadly. The Agriculture/Water/Energy Virtual Education Series features experts from our partner institutions such as NREL, Lawrence Livermore, UC Merced, CA Resources Corporation, Bakersfield College, and CA Energy Commission, to name a few.
