Taking class to new heights to watch Eclipse

Even though California was not the premium location to view this past Monday's solar eclipse, some students, faculty, and staff came up with an interesting solution to make the most out of the celestial event.
The diverse group hit the stairs of the SM building with a high powered telescope and loads of solar viewing supplies and soon found themselves on the roof with not only a great view of campus, but a pretty unique view of the eclipse itself through said telescope.
