Training For Veterans

At Kern Community College District, we can help you build out your personal brand by connecting you to what matters most – faculty with real-world experience, industry professionals. Our instructors can bring real-world knowledge to our curriculum. That way you can be more prepared for today’s challenges, and know how to tackle the hard-hitting problems of tomorrow. The KCCD Technical Training Program, operated by the Kern Community College District, is delivered at no cost to veterans. Paid for in entirety by a grant from Wells Fargo, KCCD Technical Training Program offers solutions to the above challenges, as well as connections to specific training programs offered at KCCD, business/industry coalitions focused on veteran employment

Education Training Program

A program to assist veterans in obtaining skills for the workforce Monthly training allowances provided to veterans by the Department of Veteran Affairs (GI Bill).
