College Assigned Student Email Address Information

The Kern Community College District (KCCD) and its three colleges, Bakersfield College, Cerro Coso Community College and Porterville College assign college student email addresses to all students. These student email accounts will be the primary email address that the colleges will use to communicate to students via email beginning on August 15, 2009. Use of student email for communications will NOT replace US Postal mail when required by law or when deemed appropriate

Student email accounts will be provided utilizing Google’s Gmail services which is provided at no cost to KCCD. The assignment of student email accounts to all students will begin with registration for the Summer/Fall 2009 terms.
